Parlee Parlees are masterful carbon frames made in Peabody, Massachusetts by Bob Parlee and his team of craftsmen. Bob refined his knowledge of and skill in working with carbon by building no holds barred carbon racing hulls and keels. A true carbon visionary, Bob was building carbon bikes when paper thin aluminum and small diameter titanium were the craze. Local boy Tyler Hamilton raced aboard a Parlee Z1 for some time (including a second place in the Giro) and legendary team director Bjarne Riis made a huge push to have his original CSC squad aboard Parlee custom frames. Fortunately for all of us Bob was smart enough to realize that he couldn’t supply a massive squad like CSC and still have time to make frames for the rest of us.
