Mosaic Cycles is one of the pillars of the Colorado Front Range cyclocross scene, sponsoring the notorious Small Batch squad and bringing a bevy of custom bikes to every race. The XT-1 is Mosaic’s result of years of tweaking geometry, tubesets, and design to best suit the ‘cross course. Balance, power transfer and recovery are hallmarks of the XT-1, their range topping CX frame. The XT-1 is designed for all the rigors of ‘cross riding. We’ve tested and pushed this bike to its limits and it flows through the most difficult terrain that a cyclocross course can throw at it with aplomb – from slick run-ups to sharp-elbowed corners and flat-out sprints.
Like its road cousin the RT-1, the XT-1 comes with complete custom geometry, custom tube selection, a 44mm headtube and a fully butted front triangle. An ENVE CX disc fork is standard, and 142x12mm rear dropouts are also included.
No matter how you choose to set up your XT-1, we think you’ll love it as much as we do…and the folks at NAHBS who awarded it the Blue Ribbon for Best Cyclocross Bike in 2013. Every Mosaic bicycle that leaves Above Category is custom-built for the individual, with geometry based on your answers to our questions about your riding style, current bike setup, riding/racing aspirations, and biomechanical fit dimensions.
