The Dirt East Peak TT has now come and gone, and damn was it a blast! We know, we know, it's been a while and many of you have been asking us for the results. You'll have to forgive us, we're a small team with limited bandwidth.
Anyway, the gravel gods blessed us with perfect weather and the conditions couldn't have been better for an up hill dirt rally. We had an excellent turnout for the TT with some impressively strong riders in the mix. We've tallied the results and rounded up the top 5 for each individual stage and for the overall champions.
On the women's side, we saw some generally consistent performances from stage to stage. Shout out to Maddy G who put down a stellar effort and set the fastest times for either stage, easily taking the overall crown. Honorable mention goes to Robin B who despite taking a wrong turn and veering off course on stage 2, still finished with enough speed for 4th overall.
Maddy will get to proudly represent this personalized winners jersey.
As for the men, the outcome of either stage was a bit more mixed. With a lightning fast effort up Deer Park, Jovanni S dusted the competition up stage one and gave himself enough breathing room to hang onto the overall win. It was Skyler T who put down the the top effort on stage 2, landing him 2nd place overall.
Jovanni will get to rock this custom winner's jersey until it's time to defend his title next year!
All in all, we're super stoked to have seen so many riders turn up for the Dirt East Peak TT. We've got more events on the horizon and hopefully it won't be too much longer until we can get back to group rides. Thanks again for all who endured the climb and we look forward to seeing you on the next one!
