His induction into the cycling world came thanks to a thief in Atlanta, which turned his creative career towards cycling. During his college years, while studying studio art and documenting the skateboarding world around him for various magazines, he amassed a collection of photography/video gear that was fatefully removed from him that night in Georgia. With his livelihood temporarily halted, and his insurance not cooperating, he took a job at a bike shop in Dallas, thanks to a college friend. Fast-forward to today, and he has been in the bike industry ever since, including 2 years as U.S. Marketing Coordinator for Orbea. Originally from the Texas Panhandle, he oozes respect for his fellow man, or woman, and doesn’t take himself too seriously. His favorite motto “things will be ok" sums up his positive approach to life.
