This is Chpt. ///'s rain jacket, the most protective piece available from David Millar's line. Named after his home address in Hong Kong, it's designed to be ridden through a typhoon with the wearer coming out dry on the other side. Built from a downright luxurious spin on an eVent fabric, the jacket doesn't feel like a typical technical waterproof piece. It's soft, packable, light, and luxurious. Those properties, along with the tailored cut of the piece, gives it a far less baggy/tent-like silhouette on the bike. Unlike the rest of the Chpt. /// line, where subtlety is key, the K61 is the trademark fire red color for increased visibility in the worst conditions.
Designed to be layered over the top of any combination of baselayers/jerseys, the K61 offers subtle touches only Chpt. /// brings forth, like a chest pocket with a storm flap, a higher collar, and a buttoned cuff that allows the wearer to cover the hand in deluge scenarios. As with all pieces in the line, it offers elegance to an otherwise - typically - functional piece of kit. Like the rest of the Chpt. /// line, the K61 is sized as a suitjacket, but offers more generous volume to allow for layering beneath.
