For as long as carbon fiber wheels have been in production, manufactures have been in an arms race for producing the most aerodynamic designs. While aero has its obvious benefits, it's only part of the equation to speed. Enve recognizes this and has put their efforts into a more holistic approach to speed and wheel design, equally emphasizing rolling resistance, tire performance, and vibration compliance.
The 3.4s are the lightest and shallowest offering in their aero range, with the AR edition being optimized for higher volume tires on disc brake bikes. Easily one of the most versatile wheels we've ridden, the 3.4 ARs fast on the flats, light enough for climbing, and thanks to their wider inner rim width, we've had great success with them for gravel riding too.
