The whiff of high-octane exhaust percolates through a crisp Milanese morning, and the distant din of a Ducati Testastretta v-twin echoes through the paddock. The espresso bar is bumping, and its grizzled proprietor is surly. Welcome to Monza, the third auto racing track ever built. A place of legend, it also served as the end point for the 2017 Giro d'Italia, where a lanky Dutchman by the name of Tom Dumoulin cemented his overall victory that year with a scorchingly fast time-trial. Meet CHPT3's homage to Autodromo Nazionale Monza with the MONZAMILANO TT collection, emblazoned with a familiar CHPT3 data print lifted directly from the storied track's starting grid.
Built on the evergreen ONEMORELAP pattern, the 1.24 Jersey slices a more relaxed gait than a typical racing jersey, eschewing a raglan cut in favor of a more defined silhouette with a bigger sleeve and heavy zipper. The cross-dyed Scottish Grey polyester fabric is more weighty in the hand than typical cycling garb without feeling hot or constricting during harder efforts.
