How would you build the lightest possible steel frame while making no compromise to performance or ride feel? If you were Mark Hester of Prova Cycles, you'd start with a premium blend of Columbus XCr tubing and Reynolds 953 tubing. You'd build a custom butted carbon seat mast to drop the weight and provide unmatched compliance up to the saddle. Then you'd then 3D print the dropouts and seat lug, silver soldering them to the main tubes. Finally, you'd finish it with immaculate paint work and call it the Speicale.
The Prova Speciale is truly a marvel in modern frame building, blending state of the art technology with respect to traditional methods. As beautiful as they are to the eye, they're just as much as a dream to ride.
Each and every Prova is built to order, by hand, in Melbourne, Australia.
